Reading Book in Six Days (2014) (62 Pages)
The purpose of this self-teaching book is to enable Assyrian and non-Assyrian students, to learn to read Assyrian in six days, or sessions. Many people think that learning Assyrian is very difficult. However, this book follows the rules of a standard pronunciation system that is clear and lacks exceptions to the general rules, thus it enable a beginner to read any text easily. The dialect of Urmia and how it differs from the standard pronunciation system is also explained as this dialect is used in some Assyrian dictionaries. In the second edition three appendices are added where the association of numbers with letters, the Estrangelo alphabet, generally used for book titles; and three additional distinctive marks are explained, making the book more self-sufficient.
